A Picture Says 1,000 Words

As I hear stories from the volunteers about how powerful and meaningful the "One Day With God" event was, I find myself being humbled and awestruck with God's grace.  I was even more touched as I viewed the photos from the event.  It is amazing how emotion and meaning can be caught in a still frame.  I am reminded of God's grace and peace as I view these pictures and I find myself speechless by their power.
 “One Day with God”

The fathers were taught how to tie a tie in order to teach their sons.

For many fathers, this was their first embrace with their children.

One father wrote this to his child in a letter to take home: “I will remember this day forever, Why? because I spent it with you!”

Another father wrote: “Son, I love you unconditionally.  I have made many mistakes but I will live the rest of my life making it up to you.”

Praise God for such an amazing day!
Another father wrote this: “Don't ever wonder if I love you or if I am thinking about you.  I have loved you ever since I knew you were coming into our lives.  I ask that you always do your best.  Remember if you ever fall short, it matters not - I will always love you.”

Smiles were contagious on this special day.

Another father wrote: “With all my love for U my beautiful girl. Your daddy loves you very much.  Be Good!”

“I love you soo much, my special gift from God. Daddy loves you always. May God bless you honey.”
